We are cleaning 82nd Ave to make it a safer and more inviting place for people to travel and visit!

SOLVE and the 82nd Avenue of Roses Business Association are partnering to cleanup all of of 82nd Ave through regular events. This cleanup is near several schools. As kids venture out to schools or parks, we need to help clear the way.


When: Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM

What’s Provided: We will provide trash grabbers, safety vests, gloves, and trash bags.

What to Bring: Please come wearing a face covering and comfortable closed-toed shoes. Consider bring a filled reusable water bottle and backpack. We will be working near traffic so also consider eye protection to shield your eyes from dust and possibly hearing protection if you are sound sensitive.

Parking: Parking is available in the park’s parking lot across the street. Neighborhood parking is also available on NE Siskiyou Street. The start location is accessible on the number 72 TriMet bus line.

Bathrooms: Glenhaven Park offers Accessible restrooms. However, they may be closed so please plan for limited availability.

Accessibility: This is a two hour cleanup along city sidewalks. The area involves several hills but some sections are relatively flat. If you have mobility concerns please contact the coordinator to be assigned a flat area near the starting position.

Youth Volunteers: This event is family-friendly and open to kids eight years and older. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Youth volunteers ages 13-17 can also create their own SOLVE account online. A youth volunteer can attend without their guardian if they print out and bring a signed youth waiver form.
